The Party Starts in Downtown at 5pm with a special countdown for the kids, face painting and lots of fun activities.

FRIDAY

Grab an early dinner at one of Pensacola’s restaurants before heading over to watch the Ice Flyers play the Mississippi Surge at 7pm at the Civic Center.

Don’t miss your chance to fly around the world with the film “Magic of Flight”, featuring cutting edge graphics and aerial views, at one of the largest IMAX theaters in the world at the National Naval Aviation Museum.

Spend your afternoon at the historic Pensacola Lighthouse and museum and watch one of Pensacola’s world-renowned sunsets.

Attend a special "Celebrate the New Year" performance by Pensacola Symphony Orchestra at the Saenger Theater in Downtown Pensacola. The show starts at 7pm and features notable trumpet player Ryan Anthony (formerly of the Canadian Orchestra).

Celebrate the New Year and enjoy local music, great food, and exciting entertainment at the 2011 Pelican Drop.

SUNDAY

Sleep in or walk off your celebration with a hearty brunch at one of Pensacola’s premier restaurants including Atlas or McGuires Irish Pub.
